GENMOT started to work
at the field of
Automotive Industry as
Engine Rebuilder in
1975. After 10 years
experience on the
engines, the owners of
GENMOT decided to start
manufacturing
crankshafts by reason of
increasing alternative
crankshafts searches in
domestic market. And, in
1987, they succeed being
the first Crankshaft
Manufacturer at
Automotive Sector in
Turkey. |

Up to the end of 1990,
GENMOT had been
producing crankshafts
only for domestic
market, but after that
it began exportation
studies in accordance
with its “Continiously,
Growing and Development”
principle. |

In 2000, GENMOT felt the
necessity of increasing
the production capacity
to be able to meet
intensive demands in
near future and started
to emphasize its studies
on that way. |
|
In 2001, GENMOT expanded
its capacity and product
range buying complete
crankshaft production
line of Mercedes Benz in
Berlin. And then, it
started to edge in to
all over the world
markets. |

At the beginning of
2002, GENMOT accelerated
its studies for ISO
Certificate with the “
Quality at First “
foundamental principle.
After that Genmot got
ISO 9002 TUW-CERT
Certification and
registered its quality
in world standarts. |
|
In 2003, GENMOT had to
increase its capacity
again to be able to meet
increased demands from
domestic and foreign
markets and it started
to build a new factory. |

At the beginning of
2004, GENMOT got ISO
9001:2000 TUW-CERT
CERTIFICATION and at the
end of 2004 moved new
factory. |
|
Now, we are exporting
our crankshafts nearly
50 countries and we feel
proud of being a
required brand at the
World Markets. |
