Before
disassembling
the crankshaft
from the engine
block,all
connecting rods
and matching
caps should be
numbered
according to
cylinder
location. |
|
Should loosen
cap screws then
separate
connecting rod
and its cap from
block in turn in
order. |
|
Bores must be
checked by
inside
mikrometer, if
bores do not
meet the
requierd
spesifcations,it
should be
reconditioned. |
|
Use outside
mikrometer to
check the
grinded parts of
crankshaft
whether those
are conical,oval
or not. |
|
Oil holes should
cleaned by file
if bores was
seen in those. |
|
Rush, solvent
and compressed
air should be
used while
cleaning the
canals. |
